Rush is a highly organized process lasting around two or more
weeks. Each Greek organization has its own way of conducting
rush. For Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc., interests are typically
required to visit at least one informational and one other event, if not
more. They are highly encouraged to talk to the different sisters in the
organization to know more about the sorority. The different events during
rush will give the interests an idea of what the sorority is about.
Eventually, interests are offered bids which are invitations asking them to
join the sorority after going through the New Member Education
Program.
Overall, rush is just a way for interested rushees to learn more about
the different sororities and to know more about the sisters'
personalities. We do not force anyone to join our sorority, as it is
highly up to the rushees to decide. We love to see many new faces
at our rush events and to meet new and interesting rushees.
